We support our church with our time, talent and treasure.
Time and talent work together in volunteering for the congregation. Members and friends of Heritage have volunteered their professional talents as architects, lawyers, horticulturalists, artists, and clothes-makers. Others have volunteered their avocational talents for magic performances and music. And sometimes volunteering is needed just to get the task done, as with washing dishes after the monthly pot luck lunch.
Supporting the church with treasure can occur in several different ways. Making and keeping a pledge during the annual stewardship campaign provides for the operational funds to keep the church running. A special capital campaign was used several years ago to make permanent improvements to the building, and may be used again. Persons who want to make a lasting contribution to the congregation can support it through the planned giving of a legacy gift.
