Are you searching for a bit of hope, inspiration, peace and/or joy during this winter holiday season?  Join us for an interactive, engaging, interfaith holiday pageant that searches for the words that raise our spirits, builds our resilience, deepens our sense of community, and helps embrace peace. We will explore winter holidays both familiar and new to us.

Through words, music, and stillness, we will explore how the quiet and the shadows can reveal unexpected sources of strength and hope. All are welcome to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the enduring light that guides us through this season of turning.

Steph Tacy leads this uplifting service inspired by Shannon Shallcross’s TEDx talk on how daily thankfulness can transform our lives. In our Unitarian Universalist tradition, gratitude is more than a feeling—it’s a spiritual practice that deepens awareness, strengthens community, and renews hope.

In a season when families and communities gather across lines of difference, we ask: what does it mean to be truly grateful when we don’t all see life the same way? Through story, reflection, and our cherished Bread Communion ritual, we’ll celebrate the nourishment of shared humanity and the grace of belonging that transcends agreement.

In a time of division and uncertainty, how do people of faith respond with courage and compassion — without losing sight of love?

Join us this Sunday as we explore what it means to practice faithful defiance: to rise together in covenant and in hope, affirming the values that sustain our shared humanity.

We’ll lift up a new congregational resolution, “For Faithful Defiance of Authoritarianism,” as a living expression of our Unitarian Universalist principles.

Through reflection, music, and the voices of those who helped shape this work, we’ll celebrate the power of community to heal and to lead with love.
