The Unitarian Universalist Association’s (UUA’s) 2025 General Assembly (GA) held June 18 – 22, 2025 offers a range of experiences for those who commit to in-person attendance In Baltimore, MD to the mildly curious who want to pop in virtually at their convenience. The UUA describes GA as a chance to engage, learn, and grow with workshops. “The UUA General Assembly offers a rich array of learning opportunities, with over 70 live and on-demand workshops. From spiritual practices and justice work to leadership development and congregational growth, there’s something for everyone. Attend live sessions to engage in real-time conversations or explore on-demand options at your convenience. Wherever you are on your faith journey, GA workshops provide tools, inspiration, and community for the work ahead.”
The UUA offers a variety of plans for in-person to virtual GA experiences. Details on these various plans can be found at https://www.uua.org/ga/registration. However, someone need not commit to a plan to partake in the essence of GA – the General Sessions and the Sunday morning worship experience.
The UUA describes General Sessions as “Open to all via live streaming, these sessions provide a platform for discussing, shaping, and advancing the shared mission and values of the UUA. From voting on key issues to hearing reports from Association leaders, the General Sessions reflect a spirit of collaborative leadership and commitment to Unitarian Universalist principles. Join us in witnessing and participating in the impactful work that drives our faith forward.”
The UUA describes the Sunday morning service as “Join us for GA Sunday Worship on June 22, 2025, at 11:00 am ET, for a powerful and communal experience – the largest annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists in worship. While in-person attendance in Baltimore requires General Assembly registration, the livestream is open to the public—no registration required. A recording of the service will also be available on demand via YouTube shortly after the live broadcast (within a few minutes or even seconds).
