The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) has announced details for the June 18-22, 2025 General Assembly (GA) in Baltimore, Maryland. The plans for this 64th gathering include announcing the theme, worship leader, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility (DEIBA) consultants, opening sponsorship/exhibitors/advertising opportunities, and calling for program proposals.
The theme for the gathering will be “Meet the Moment.” The UUA describes this theme as, “In this transformative time, we’re called to reshape and renew, facing both challenges and the opportunity for radical change. As traditional forms of connection and spirituality evolve, many are seeking meaningful engagement that reflects today’s needs and values.
With shifting religious practices, eco-justice concerns, and a push for spiritual leadership, we see a unique chance to realign. This moment invites us to harness resources thoughtfully, strengthen connections, and deepen Unitarian Universalism’s impact. Rather than imposing change, we’ll work collaboratively to shape a sustainable, purpose-driven future grounded in our shared values. Together, we can meet this moment with clarity and commitment, building a resilient foundation for all.”
The GA worship leader will be Rev. Dr. Nicole C. Kirk. The DEIBA consultants will be Rosemarie Rossetti and Ann Verdine-Jones.
