BWB Meeting Selection for Wednesday, May 15, 2024

Blue Ridge Public Radio describes the selected novel for the Heritage Women’s Book Club’s (aka Babes with Books or the BWB) next meeting on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 as follows. “David Joy’s new book blends Southern Gothic Noir and classic whodunit style with a complex intersection of race, friendship, and history.” 

Our current selections for our upcoming meetings are as follows:

June 19 – Enchantment, by Katherine May
July 17 – What Your Are Looking For is in the Library, by Michiko Aoyama
August 21 – The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, by Taylor Jenkins Reid (Location TBD)
September 18 – Master Slave Husband Wife, by Ilyon Woo
October 16 – The Authenticity Project, by Clare Pooley
November 20 – The Power, by Naomi Alderman
December 18 – Holiday party, no book selection, movie TBD

All BWB meetings run from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Heritage Room, unless otherwise announced.

All women (be they members, or friends) are always invited to any BWB meeting – whether they have read the book or not. Unless otherwise announced, the meeting’s book selection is available on hold for the Heritage Book Club at the Anderson Township branch of the Hamilton County library approximately a month in advance.
