The “UU Know Your Rights” training program about immigrants’ rights is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 6 p.m. on Zoom.
The approximately two-hour presentation is being offered to members of UU congregations by the Legal Aid Society of Southwestern Ohio.
The presentation discusses the legal rights that immigrants have and how they can best be used in the face of ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) actions. In addition, the rights that immigrant advocates and allies have in doing their work in the immigrant community are also explained.
