As we enter the longer and warmer days of summer, we anticipate the delights of this season. Eagerness for picnics, beach parties, fireworks, and more are on our minds and flow from our proverbial pens in the form of poetry and prose.
Heritage members and friends are invited to submit their original creative writings of one page or less on the theme of “Summer Fun” for publication in the July 2025 Heirloom edition. Send these efforts to the Heirloom Editor at
The submissions deadline is June 24, 2025 at 5 p.m. Submissions a week earlier than the deadline are highly recommended so that the author can review any necessary format changes for the publication.
