7-9 p.m. in the Heritage Room
Join the Heritage Women’s Book Club (affectionately known as the Babes with Books or the BWB) for their discussion of The Women by Kristin Hannah on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in the Heritage Room from 7 – 9 p.m. This novel is a story about one woman who served in the Vietnam war, but it shines a light on all women who put themselves in harm’s way and whose sacrifice and commitment to their country has too often been forgotten. It is a novel about deep friendships and bold patriotism. The Women is a richly drawn story with a memorable heroine whose idealism and courage under fire will come to define an era.
Our current selections for our upcoming meetings are as follows:
February 19, 2025 – The Measure, by Nickki Erlick
March 19, 2025 – True Biz, by Sara Novic
April 16, 2025 – The Lost Book of Bonn, by Brianna Labuskes
May 21, 2025 – The Briar Club, by Kate Quinn
June 18, 2025 – The Whalebone Theater, by Joanna Quinn
All BWB meetings run from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Heritage Room, unless otherwise announced.
All women (be they members, or friends) are always invited to any BWB meeting – whether they have read the book or not. Unless otherwise announced, the meeting’s book selection is available on hold for the Heritage Book Club at the Anderson Township branch of the Hamilton County library approximately a month in advance.
