The Babes with Books or BWB, Heritage’s women’s book club, revisits WWII era Europe for their April 16, 2025, 7 – 9 p.m. meeting in the Heritage room with their selection The Lost Book of Bonn by Brianna Labuskes This post-war historical novel is described by an Amazon.com reviewer as a “gorgeous book about forgiveness and the power of the written word.” Set before, during, and after WWII, the review continues that this book covers immense ground including “all the various shades and shapes that bravery can take” as the story behind a slim volume of poetry and its handwritten dedication, stolen by the Nazis, is revealed.
The current reading selections for BWB upcoming meetings are as follows:
May 21, 2025 – The Briar Club, by Kate Quinn
June 18, 2025 – The Whalebone Theater, by Joanna Quinn
July 23, 2025 – We All Live Here, by Jojo Moyes
August 20, 2025 – Real Americans, by Rachel Khong
All BWB meetings run from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Heritage Room, unless otherwise announced.
