In September, Rev. Bill Lyon will begin serving as the Minister of Heritage. Bill was recently co-ordained by our church the UU Church of Lexington in a ceremony in April of this year. He served the Lexington church as Intern Minister from 2022 to 2024.
Bill earned his Master of Divinity degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School in 2024 and has been engaged in community ministry and social justice work in Cincinnati since then. He also holds degrees in finance and risk management (BSBA, Ohio State) and in financial services (MSFS, The American College).
Before shifting his career toward religious leadership, Rev. Bill led a holistic financial advisory practice. Bill and his wife, Barb, live in Anderson Township. Interestingly, they met at church and were married here 30 years ago. Their adult children, Frank and Grant, grew up in our youth program.
