This summer, you are encouraged to collect and keep a small sample of water from a location that has special significance to you: a vacation destination, the creek on grandparents’ farm, a pond or lake, river or ocean. Set that water aside and then bring it with you to church on Sunday, September 8th for our annual Ingathering Water Ceremony. At that service, we will merge our waters into one common vessel to reflect the rich diversity of our church family while creating our own Heritage “holy water.”
This Sunday marks the beginning of another annual cycle of religious community, the 198th year in our storied church history.
