7:00-8:30 p.m. @ Wandering Monsters Brewery
8251 Beechmont Ave., Anderson Township, OH
Please join in a postcard campaign Wandering Monsters Brewery on Tuesday, March 18, between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM to support the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act (S. 455/HR 1061) This pivotal bicameral bill would codify commonsense protections for immigrant communities at sensitive locations. People should have the right to feel safe when going to school, to the hospital, to places of worship, to courthouses. Such long-standing protections have recently been rescinded. This pair of bills would guarantee these basic protections so that people can learn, worship and seek basic health care and other services without fear, anxiety, or trauma.
Join with neighbors at Wandering Monsters Brewery, 8251 Beechmont Ave. (behind Arthur’s.) Your elected representatives and senators are being asked to co-sponsor these bills. Drop by for a few minutes to sign postcards or stay around for good conversation. Wandering Monsters has great food and drinks!
Registrations are requested at https://cosponsorpostcards.eventbrite.com so that we can have adequate materials on hand. This project is sponsored by Anderson Churches for Racial Unity (ACRU) and Greater Anderson Promotes Peace (GAPP).
