Tracy Jo a will lead this planning session
Are you “Good to Go?” Each one of us will “Go” in the end. Give your loved ones the gift of clarity and empower them with your wishes in writing.
This event is intentionally unapologetically upbeat, grounded, and productive. Rather than focusing on fear or sadness, it creates space for honesty, reflection, and empowerment. Participants will be offered tools, tips, and practical approaches that make it easier to begin writing a personal death plan—at whatever pace feels right.
For many families, one of the most difficult moments comes when decisions must be made without guidance. Questions about body disposition, personal belongings, accounts, and memorial wishes can leave loved ones guessing at a time when they are already grieving. Having even a simple plan in place can ease that burden and help prevent confusion or conflict, allowing family and friends to focus on remembrance and mourning rather than logistics.
During the workshop, we will explore topics such as where to record passwords and account information, how to designate recipients for meaningful personal items like photos or journals, and how and where you would like your body to be handled and viewed after death. Writing these preferences down can be a profound act of care, offering peace of mind to both you and those you love.
Past participants have described the experience as deeply meaningful and unexpectedly joyful. One shared, “It was amazing—so real, tearful, honest, yet joyful. We all walked away feeling blessed, educated, and empowered.” Another reflected, “I felt like I turned a corner around planning for my own death. It was a very empowering night.”
No legal, medical, or ethical advice will be given. Sample death plans will be shared, not as prescriptions, but as inspiration. Nothing will be sold; this gathering is simply about offering options and support for future planning.
This is a free event. You may or may not leave with a completed death plan, and either outcome is welcome. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
You are encouraged to attend even if you have participated in similar events before. Many people find that hearing this information more than once helps deepen understanding and motivation. This workshop is an invitation to approach an inevitable part of life with intention, compassion, and care.
