Join Rabbi Jonathan Cohen and Rev. Mitra Jafarzadeh for a deeper look at our attitudes about money and church. Is money the root of all evil? Should the plate be passed? Were you taught to tithe? From sacred texts to our own mothers and fathers, we receive lots of messages about how money and church go together—or not. Looking toward the future of HUUC, we will explore these ideas to understand better how we as a community navigate finances in the congregation.
