“Nothing is more constant than change,” quips the old adage. At times, it appears that everything is changing. To some of us that is great, to others it is terrifying. Still, the winds of change blow regardless of our feelings.
Since the topic of change evokes emotional responses in many of us, the theme is ripe for creative writing efforts. Heritage congregants are invited to submit their original poetry or prose of one page or less on the topic of change for the May edition of the Heirloom to Barb Barnes at

The submissions deadline for this edition is April 24, 2025; however, submission at least a week earlier is highly recommended.
