IPM (Inter Parish Ministry) Food Pantry is already getting prepared for their backpack/school supplies distribution in early August.
They have again asked HUUC to be a willing partner with them by collecting school supplies for local students in need. They appreciated our generosity last year in helping distribute over 450 backpacks filled with essential supplies to students from pre-K through high school. Their 2025 goal is to hand out 500 school backpacks.
Each church or contributing organization is asked to bring specific items. This year, they are asking that Heritage people provide the following:
- Pens (red, blue, black)
- Composition Notebooks
- Pencil Pouches
If you and your family would like to contribute, we ask that you bring your items to church between now and Sunday, July 27, 2025. Place them in the grocery cart in the Great Hall. Let’s fill the cart! You may also drop your items off at Mt. Carmel Christian Church on Bach Buxton on Monday, July 28 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
