The BWB meets Wednesday, August 21, 2024 for a pool party/potluck offsite
The August meeting’s selection for the Heritage Women’s Book Club (aka the Babes with Books or BWB) is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. People magazine describes this NY Times Bestseller and perfect summer read as “”A novel of Old Hollywood that’s simultaneously gossipy and poignant. Look no further for the glamour, ambition, and shocking secrets your beach-blanket sessions demand.”
Beach blankets will be de rigor for this meeting since the Babes will meet for a simultaneous pool party/pot luck at the home of Tracy Rossa, 2466 Concord Green in Anderson Township. “Gates open” at 5 p.m. Tracy will provide sangria, iced tea, and water, but attendees are requested to bring a dish to share. All BWB meetings run from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Heritage Room, unless otherwise announced.
All women (be they members, or friends) are always invited to any BWB meeting – whether they have read the book or not. Unless otherwise announced, the meeting’s book selection is available on hold for the Heritage Book Club at the Anderson Township branch of the Hamilton County library approximately a month in advance.
