COHORT SPOTLIGHT
June 20, 21, and 22, 2024
On-line at General Assembly (GA)
The Mosaic: Living Our Antiracist, Multicultural Commitments
The UUA defines a cohort gathering on their website, https://www.uua.org/ga/program/schedule, as “an opportunity for individuals to come together with like-minded peers, forming a close-knit and supportive community that shares common goals, interests, or experiences”. These engaging and enriching gatherings allows participants to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another in a unique, focused setting. By participating in a cohort gathering, you’ll not only gain valuable knowledge and insights but also forge lasting relationships and access a network that can propel your personal and professional growth to new heights.
GA Registered participants can choose between attending a Cohort Gathering in the morning or afternoon. This flexibility accommodates various scheduling preferences and time zones.”
Adults and youth alike are welcome at this Cohort’s three sessions on June 20, 21, and 22, 2024 to explore new content about antiracist multicultural change, as well as synthesize what we are learning about in GA workshops and programs. You’ll meet other congregations’ lay leaders, ministers, religious educators, and staff who are building their own unique congregational “mosaic” of transformative change, and you’ll learn directly from UUA staff who are developing and curating programs for all ages and stages of life.
