“A Season of Shadows and Light”

Sunday Worship, December 7, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
Rev. Bill Lyon leads this service.
As winter deepens, we gather to honor both the darkness and the light within and around us. This gentle, reflective service offers space for rest, remembrance, and renewal during a season that can feel both beautiful and heavy.
Through words, music, and stillness, we will explore how the quiet and the shadows can reveal unexpected sources of strength and hope. All are welcome to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the enduring light that guides us through this season of turning.
At 10:30 a.m., join us in the sanctuary or click this Zoom link.
Worship with us in person or online
For Sunday morning worship, join us in the sanctuary (map and directions) or click the Zoom link that will appear before the service in the service description. The worship service and its attendees may be video recorded and appear later on various media.
Sharing Our Abundance: Since January 2017, Heritage UU Church has been giving away all of the plate offering every Sunday to a worthy non-profit organization working to help change the world in alignment with our values. You can give in the plate on Sunday, or learn more and donate using the link provided each week.

On November 23, 2025 until December 5, 2025, we Share our Abundance with IPM’s Holiday Shopping project.
Donations will come to the church, then on Sunday, Dec. 7, our own elves (our children) will take a shopping trip to pick out gifts for the children served by IPM. Donations will be accepted through Friday, Dec. 5.
At the end of the donation form, you will be able to enter “IPM Holiday Shop” in the comments field. Remember, you can choose the option to cover fees so more funds go to gifts for the IPM kids.

Heritage is a Unitarian Universalist church that encourages each person to search for their own understanding of truth and meaning, and does not tell you what to believe. What holds us together is a sense of community and shared principles.
