The business of the 2024 UUA General Assembly conducted from June 20-23, 2024 addressed numerous issues over four days and five sessions, totaling to more than 13 hours of public meetings. The major ballot issues consisted of four possible amendments to the proposed changes to Article II of the Bylaws (prior to the final vote on the finalized proposed Article II changes), a business resolution, a responsive resolution, and three Actions of Immediate Witness (AIW). According to UUA.org , “An Action of Immediate Witness (AIW) is a statement about a significant action, event, or development in the world that necessitates immediate engagement and action among UU member congregations and groups.”
