We come together on the winter solstice, the longest night of the year, to celebrate a traditional Yule. Even though the coldest part of the winter lies ahead, Yule represents the rebirth of the sun and the promise of the eventual return of warmth and light. It is a time for merriment and rejoicing.
The Winter Solstice Celebration will take place at Heritage UU Church. Weather permitting, we will circle round the fire pit outdoors for ritual, drumming, prayer, and song. Craft activities will be provided for those preferring to remain indoors. Please bring a light snack or beverage to share afterwards.
