A church congregation is a community, and part of what strengthens community bonds is being together in real time during worship, whether in person at the church building or connected during a Zoom service.
If your schedule doesn’t allow you to participate in real time in a Sunday morning worship service, you will soon be able to watch the service at a later time. Danny Goldstein, our technical Zoom and video wizard, will be creating videos of worship services, whether they were in person or via Zoom. To protect privacy, some aspects of the worship service, such as Candles of Community, will not be in the video.
The videos are likely to become available during the week following the service. The latest worship video will be viewable at the bottom of the Heritage UU Church homepage, at huuc.net. The website will also keep the various prior worship videos over time. To find these, on the website menu bar, point to WORSHIP, then point and click on WORSHIP VIDEOS. The first worship service video will become available in late September or early October, 2021.
