Our Vespers service is loosely patterned after vespers of the Taizé Monastic Community in France, which were created to build a sense of communion with the holy through singing, readings, reflection, and silence. Join us as we gather to listen for and be mindful of our inner voice, our connection to each other, and all that is.
Weather permitting, we will gather outdoors at Heritage UU Church on the patio or labyrinth to worship together. Following church policy, up to 10 family groups can gather on the grounds and all participants must wear masks fully covering nose and mouth. Please go to the SignUp Genius for May Vespers to reserve your spot. And don’t forget to bring a chair to sit on. You may also bring a drum or shaker to use during the chant music. In the case of inclement conditions, the service will be held on Zoom.
This will be the last Vespers Service offered for this church year. We will take a break during the summer months of June, July and August, and plan to resume Vespers in September.
