Here is one thing that Democrats and Republicans, conservatives and liberals, lefties and righties, can all agree on; getting out the vote in November is absolutely crucial! But it will happen if U get involved. There are so many ways every one of you can help. Four things you can do to get started:
(1) Make sure U are registered! Go to Ohio Votes (https://OhVotes.org) and walk through the simple process. Ask your friends and neighbors to do the same.
(2) While you are on OhVotes.org, request an absentee ballot. Yes, the State will send you one sometime in October. Will you get it in time? Make sure by requesting one now.
(3) Zoom with us on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. for the movie Rigged (see the Article in this issue.)
(4) Talk with the HUUC UUtheVote team Tuesday, August 18, 2020, 7:00 p.m., via Zoom. We’ll be making plans for group action, and will have information about phone banking, registration drives, absentee ballots, and other ways you can plug in from your computer. A link to this Zoom meeting will appear on the church homepage by the time of the meeting.
