Drawing on music, poetry, ritual and the words of indigenous peoples, we will acknowledge our history, listen and learn how to build meaningful healing relationships.
UU’s have played varied roles in the long history of indigenous people in our country — from taking part in the shameful boarding schools for native children, to profiting from colonization, to settling on “stolen land,” to the more recent positive stand of UUs for indigenous peoples. Join us as we seek to learn and understand our history, to acknowledge complicity, and build meaningful healing relationships.
