The Worship Committee
Diwali is the five-day festival of lights, celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. Diwali, which for some also coincides with harvest and new year celebrations, is a festival that celebrates new beginnings, light over darkness, and the triumph of good over evil.
During this time in our country following a contentious presidential election, the Worship Committee will join together to present a collaborative service. With music, poetry, story and video, we’ll highlight the customs, lights and colors of our Eastern brothers and sisters as they celebrate this major feast.
