The final day to register to vote in Ohio in next month’s election is October 9. As Unitarian Universalists, we believe in the democratic process and the right of everyone to make their voices heard in community decision-making. What would be more UU than exercising your right to vote?
Even if you think you are registered, it is a good idea to double-check your registration status prior to the deadline, so any errors (or unforeseen deletions) can be corrected. Note also that if you have moved or changed residence or name since the last election, you must re-register! In Hamilton County, go to: https://boe.hamilton-co.org/register-to-vote-and-update-registration/am-i-registered.aspx and type in your information to verify your voter registration status.
You can check to see if you are registered to vote in any state by going to Vote.org.
If you are not registered, you can register at:
- Ohio’s Online Voter Registration System.
- Kentucky’s Online Voter Registration Site.
- Indiana’s Voter Portal.
Finally, you may vote early beginning on October 10. Check exact dates and times of early voting, and get any voting questions or concerns answered, at https://boe.hamilton-co.org/
