Help people learn about Unitarian Universalism! It’s a lot of fun working a shift for two hours at the booth, talking with people, handing out information, and watching the crowd. In 2018, our booth made contact with at least 700 people!
The Pride Festival takes place at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove, 705 East Pete Rose Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202. It’s once again free for everyone. There’s food, drinks, vendors, and entertainment to fill your Saturday afternoon with fun.
Area UU congregations work together in the information booth. We give out general information on Unitarian Universalism, the UU Council of Greater Cincinnati, and also individual churches. Booth activity starts at the end of the parade and goes until about 8 or 9 p.m. Work shifts are generally two hours long. We do not have our location assigned yet but we hope that our location will be the same as last year which is under the “Big Mac” bridge and near the playground and bathrooms.
