Saturday, March 16, 2019, 6:00 p.m. RSVP Required.
The date for our spring Get Acquainted Dinner has been set! If you are new to our church community, join others like yourself to meet one another, get to know some of our church leaders, and break bread together on Saturday evening, March 16.
Get Acquainted Dinners are relaxed, informal evenings that take place at Heritage UU Church. They begin (at 6 p.m.) with appetizers, drinks and, well, getting acquainted. Dinner is served at 6:30. There is always a fun theme, courtesy of our dinner coordinator and head chef Ann Jarboe, to help us break the ice. (She’s thinking of a Hawaiian luau for this one.) After we eat, we continue the conversation so that we can learn more about one another, and how we came to Heritage Church.
For those who wish to stay a little later, our Senior Minister, Rev. Bill Gupton, offers a quick session called “UU 101” that serves as an introduction to HUUC and Unitarian Universalism, beginning at approximately 8 p.m. (or whenever dinner ends) and lasting anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Here you can learn more about our church, and this thing we call “UUism.”
