May’s Banned Book, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, by Jesse Andrews, ranks seventh on ALA’s list of the Top 10 Most Challenged Books of 2021, and was tied for tenth on the list of the Top Most Challenged Books of 2022, despite being originally published in 2012!
