The October Vespers Service will explore pagan thought and traditions for this time of the year: marking the end of the harvest, the beginning of the winter season, and the remembrance of our ancestors. Readings, music, and periods of silence for reflection are the backbone of this contemplative service in the Taizé tradition. Bring a drum or shaker to accompany the chanting. Because church restrictions allow for no more than 10 family groups to gather outdoors on church grounds, please use this link to sign up on SignUpGenius and reserve your spot.
Join us each month on the 4th Wednesday for our Vespers service. Weather permitting, we will gather outdoors around the labyrinth or on the patio. Bring a lawn chair and blankets for warming the night air. We will meet on Zoom when the weather keeps us indoors.
Childcare is not available at this time.
The remaining monthly services for this church year will be held on November 25, December 23, January 27, February 24, March 24, April 28 and May 26. (November and December dates are subject to change due to the holidays.)
