The Babes with Books group’s joy of reading materializes during their March 21 meeting in the form of The Book of Joy, by the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. When those two collaborate on a book, you know it will be a best seller. Amazon.com reviewers give it five star glowing reviews, saying that this quick read is “brilliant, delightful, and profoundly inspiring.”
As we move into spring, Heritage’s women’s book club meetings will discuss the following:
- April 18- The Bluest Eye, by Toni Morrison (a limited number available through the Hamilton Co. library).
- May 16- Quiet until the Thaw, by Alexandra Fuller.
- June 20- Young Jane Young, by Gabriel Zevin.
All meetings are from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Heritage room. All Heritage women and female friends are always invited. For more information, talk with Barb Barnes, or email her at BWB@huuc.net.
