Saturday, April 29, 2023, 6:00 p.m., at St. John’s UU Church
Join UUs from the Greater Cincinnati area for a potluck dinner with Rev. Mary Katherine Morn, President of UU Service Committee. She will speak briefly to the group, with a question-and-answer time. This is an opportunity to learn more about the work UUSC is doing with grassroots partners around the world to resist oppressive systems and advance human rights. Two other people from the UUSC will also be present, providing everyone with an opportunity to speak directly with a UUSC representative at some point in the evening.
Bring a dish to share as we enjoy camaraderie and inspiration with our fellow UU justice-lovers. The potluck will take place at St. John’s Unitarian Universalist Church, 320 Resor Avenue, Cincinnati OH 45220. Church doors will open a little early for those who wish to warm their food contributions.
The event is sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Council of Greater Cincinnati, which represents six local UU congregations: First Church, The Gathering at Northern Hills, Harmony, Heritage, Hopedale, and St. John’s.
The next morning, a joint UU multi-church worship service at First Unitarian of Cincinnati will have Rev. Morn as the guest preacher. Click here to learn more about the worship service.
