Calling all volunteers! We’ll be planting a hundred or more trees at Heritage Acres Memorial Sanctuary on Saturday, October 17, beginning at 9 a.m. and lasting until 2 p.m. Folks of all ages can enjoy this fun and rewarding activity. Enjoy community while helping to renew and restore our natural environment.
BYOS (bring your own shovel), and don’t forget a water bottle and a bag lunch. Make a day of it for the whole family! (Keep in mind that there are no facilities or running water at Heritage Acres.)
If October 17 doesn’t fit into your schedule, there are three more community work days scheduled at Heritage Acres this month: Saturday, October 3, Wednesday, October 14, and Wednesday, October 28. All times are 9:00-2:00. Heritage Acres’ address is 796 Locust Corner Road 45245.
