“I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.” Ebenezer Scrooge on Christmas Day, in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
This year two days after Christmas, you have a chance to honor the holiday in your heart and in your actions, by helping homeless families through Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN). (If you don’t know about IHN, you can read about it on the Heritage IHN page.)
December 27 will be Heritage Church’s night to help the IHN activity at First Unitarian Church in Cincinnati.
- If you would enjoy working with another household to cook dinner for approximately 15 to 20 people (a more exact count will be provided at the time), consider being a DINNER HOST.
- If you would enjoy working with the children and youth of the homeless families and providing fun things to do, consider becoming an ACTIVITY HOST.
- If you would be willing to sleep overnight in the First Church building, consider being an OVERNIGHT HOST.
