You have often heard it said, “We’re a different kind of church.” Or maybe, “Unitarian Universalism is just, well – different.” Today, we will explore some ways in which we are, indeed, different.

In the opening words of our traditional reading for the final Sunday in August, “You and I and all of us blew about with the winds of summer.” As summer draws to a close, and we are gathered back into deeper community and covenant, all ages are invited to a homecoming of sorts – our annual Ingathering Sunday worship service. Please bring a small container of water that you gathered this summer, to share in our Water Ceremony ritual. Bring as well your open heart and open arms. Let us join together in beloved community once again.
