Heritage has a new Sustainability Series – opportunities to explore a wide variety of topics centered around sustainability.
Join us for the Sustainability Series’ first event: Beginner Foraging!
Eating local reduces your carbon footprint by minimizing the miles your food has to travel. Eating from your own yard reduces those miles to zero. Don’t fight the weeds, eat them instead! We’ll learn about a few easy-to-identify plants, explore outside and apply what we’ve learned and taste test a few previously foraged items.
