Kellie Coviello Kelly.
“Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’ ” ~ Mary Anne Radmacher, author and artist.
In our own personal lives, and in our communal work for social justice, the ability to persist and persevere is an important skill to build and strengthen. Sometimes, it is the only type of courage we need.
Kellie Kelly is the intern minister at Unity Temple Unitarian Universalist Congregation outside Chicago, and serves as the steering committee chairperson of UU Class Conversations. She will graduate from Meadville Lombard Theological School this month, and will be ordained into our Unitarian Universalist ministry in June.
