Through the month of January and culminating on February 4 (Super Bowl Sunday), we will be participating in the “Souper Bowl of Caring.” This is an opportunity for us to remind ourselves through this cold month of January as we shop for our own comfort items to pick up an extra item for our neighbors in need. “Souper Bowl” is a youth-inspired movement so you are encouraged to involve the whole family in choosing items and placing them in our Inter Parish Ministry (IPM) collection cart in the Great Hall. Together, we can help keep the IPM shelves stocked! You can learn what foods are particularly sought at the IPM Needs page.
Our collection total, including the amounts from our January and February IPM offerings, will be posted to the Souper of Caring Website.
If you have any questions about the Souper Bowl of Caring drive, please see Regina Pugh (OutreachOffering@huuc.net). If you have any questions about IPM, please see Kay Inskeep or Mike Roberts (FoodJustice@huuc.net).
