No, this isn’t a murder mystery! On the night of Friday, September 14, Heritage Church will host a dinner – open to the community – at which the designated conversation topic will be death. Yours. Ours. Everyone’s.
A new twist on the popular Death Cafés, this potluck meal-and-discussion will be facilitated by Lynda Anello, a community member of our Cincinnati End-of-Life Collaborative. Lynda works at Vitas Healthcare, which offers hospice, palliative care and end-of-life services.
Dinner begins at 6 p.m., with conversation – both guided and informal – continuing for a couple of hours. Since this is a potluck, you are asked to bring a dish suitable for sharing with 6-8 others. And since this is also a space-limited event, please RSVP with the names and number of persons in your party who will be attending, and what you/they might bring, to Rev. Bill Gupton at firstname.lastname@example.org. Watch your church bulletin in upcoming weeks for more details.
