Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) is an agency that uses rotating churches to house the homeless until they can find permanent shelter. It is nearly unique among agencies in Cincinnati in that it keeps whole families together.
A big “Thank you” goes out to the Heritage people who volunteered to help the homeless on February 21. These were Dinner Hosts and Servers Rae Jane Araujo, Russ Araujo, Feriel Feldman and Jim Larson; Activity Hosts Becca Morra and her daughter, and Overnight Hosts Bob Lamb and Sue Rahall. The First Unitarian Church of Cincinnati takes in the IHN homeless on four separate weeks during the year, and Tuesdays are the days when Heritage Church provides support.
