Saturday, September 22, 2018. Starting around 8:30 a.m. Offsite.
You can help a family achieve home ownership by helping during the Habitat for Humanity build. Volunteers and sponsors add to the “sweat equity” of the receiving family to provide shelter to people who previously experienced housing insecurity.
You can help on any Saturday, but September 22 is especially scheduled for Heritage folk to work. There are jobs/roles for any skill level, so no previous construction experience required. Youth aged 16 or older are welcome and the site leader can sign off for service hours, if needed. September 22 is also a date when Heritage Church is responsible for providing lunch to the workers. The build site this year is 6003 Sierra Street, Cincinnati, OH 45227 (Madisonville).
