Death Café Cincinnati is an open-minded, open-hearted, open-ended conversation about death and dying, facilitated by our Senior Minister, Rev. Bill Gupton. There is no agenda, no desire to convince anyone else about personal experiences or beliefs – just a willingness to share, to listen, and to become more comfortable with the one thing that, more than any other, is shared by all human beings – an awareness, in the words of the late Forrester Church, that “we are both alive, and going to die.”
Death Café Cincinnati will take place at the Clifton Branch Library, 3400 Brookline Ave. in Clifton, on Tuesday evening, August 29, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Those who are interested may choose to continue the conversation after the meeting at a nearby restaurant for dinner and/or drinks.
