A Gifting of Songs of Comfort & Reflection from Threshold Singers of Cincinnati.
Threshold Choir is a national movement of choirs whose members sing for those at the thresholds of life: death, serious illness, grief, and transition.
We offer this open time to anyone who would like to receive a gift of song from our choir. We will offer songs of comfort, gratitude, and acknowledgment from the Threshold repertoire, and we will sit quietly between songs. Threshold songs are spiritual in nature, but are not traditional spiritual or religious music.
Come into the singing space anytime during the gathering, and stay as long as you like. There will be a separate room for support and spoken reflection for those who desire it. All are welcome, including children old enough to remain quiet during the gathering.
This is not a formal concert, nor is it a singalong experience. It is an opportunity to receive gifts of song, and a time of quiet reflection. No registration is required.
- Location: Heritage Universalist Unitarian Church, 2710 Newtown Road, Cincinnati, OH 45244.
- Cost: Donations will be gratefully accepted to benefit Threshold Singers of Cincinnati and Heritage Acres Memorial Sanctuary.
