Within the natural world there is rhythm. It can be observed in the ocean’s tides, a growing season, a waxing of the moon, as well as a time for going inward, dormancy, or rest. Rest is one of the ways the natural world remains in balance. As humans we are well aware of a daily physical need for sleep but what about another type of rest that helps to restore our soul’s balance? What is Sabbath time? Please join us as we explore why our world is in need of deeper rest and how we may find ways to manifest this sacred time, or Sabbath practice, within the framework our busy and demanding lives.
