Following another wonderful women’s gathering for the Babes with Books holiday party, the Heritage Women’s Book Club goes back to the books for its January 17, 7 p. m. meeting to discuss The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. An Amazon.com reviewer describes it as “a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women.” This flashback set in WWII France will have you guessing who is the narrator until nearly the end.
February 21, the Babes gather to discuss Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult. Bring your reading suggestions to the January meeting since we will be selecting the reads for future 2018 meetings. All Heritage women and friends are invited to all gatherings, whether or not they have read the book. All meetings are held in the Heritage Room unless otherwise noted.
